"Faces" as written by and Ry/donaghy Cooder....
Pour me some wine, join me tonight
Surround me with your happy faces
Share some fun stories, stay up all night
Surround me with your friendly faces
Then look at me, when I'm not aware
Then you'll see, I cannot do without you
I'll be right there, if you ask me to
If you're feeling sad, I'll stay with you
And if you're scared, I'll hold your hand
Like I know you'd do for me too, like I know
You'd do for me too

Pour me some wine, join me tonight
Life is so good when I'm with you
I needed the laughs, I needed you tonight
life is so good when I'm with you

So look at me, when I'm not aware
Then you'll see, I cannot do without you
I'll be right there, if you ask me to
If you're feeling sad, I'll stay with you
And if you're scared, I'll hold your hand
Like I know you'd do for me too.
I'll be right there, if you ask me to
If you're feeling sad, I'll stay with you
And if you're scared, I'll hold your hand
Like I know you'd do for me too.

General CommentThis song, to me, is so clearly about friends, how you enjoy their company and them being there for you, and you for them And those moments, when you've with them and everything is perfect.
I think it's easy to mistake the lyrics for being about a boyfrined or love, when it's really about friendship.
    Beautiful song.

General CommentThis is mine and my girlfriends song, and has been since we first met. It paints such a beautiful picture of connection between people, be it a group of friends or one special friend/lover. Lene is a fantastic lyricist and never fails to stop me dead in my tracks by recreating such familiar and special scenes.
