"Malagueña Salerosa" as written by and Travis/dashiell Edmonson....
Que bonitos ojos tienes
Debajo de esas dos cejas,
Debajo de esas dos cejas,
Que bonitos ojos tienes!

Ellos me quieren mirar,
Pero si tu no los dejas,
Pero si tu no los dejas
Ni siquiera parpadear.

Malaguena salerosa,
Besar tus labios quisiera,
Besar tus labios quisiera,
Malaguena salerosa.

why decirte nina hermosa
Eres linda why hechicera,
Eres linda why hechicera,
Como el candor de una rosa.

Si por pobre me desprecias
Yo te concedo razon,
Yo te concedo razon,
Si por pobre me desprecias.

Yo no te ofrezco riquezas
Te ofrezco mi corazon,
Te ofrezco mi corazon
A cambio de mi pobreza.

Malaguena salerosa,
Besar tus labios quisiera,
Besar tus labios quisiera,
Malaguena salerosa.

why decirte nina hermosa
Eres linda why hechicera,
Eres linda why hechicera,
Como el candor de una rosa.

General CommentThis song rocks. Lyrically (in Spanish at least, it sounds kinda dumb translado por ingles), musically...everything.

General CommentSounds like an honest old time love ballad. Actually ".. you are pretty and magical
As the innocence of a rose"
sounds a lot more appealing than the usual uninspired pop lyrics.

General CommentIt's because this song IS old...

This is just a new version of it, in a kind of rock key... and it sure rules... excelent way of ending Kill Bill 2 ;)

BTW, some lyrics are not quite well translated. For example, the lines:

    Ellos me quieren mirar
Pero si tu no los dejas
Pero si tu no los dejas
    Ni siquiera parpadear.

    are, more precisely:

They want to look at me
But if you don’t let them
But if you don’t let them
    Not even to blink…

General Commentarrr wat a tune! i love it. i love the spanish accent so it sounds brilliant with this song. I cant believe how quick and how well they play the guitar in this song. Its jst too quick, impossible for me. dont think the song quite works as well in english lol.

General CommentMy English interpretation is this:

    What beautiful eyes you have
    Under those two eyebrows
    Under those two eyebrows
    What beautiful eyes you have

They want to look at me
    But you don't let them
    But you don't let them
    Not even to wink

    Lively woman from Málaga
I really want to kiss your lips
I really want to kiss your lips
    Lively woman from Málaga
And to tell you, pretty girl

That you are beau...........................tiful and bewitching
That you are beautiful and bewitching
Like the essence of a rose

If you despise me because I'm poor
    You are right
    You are right
If you despise me because I'm poor

    I don't offer you riches
    I offer you my heart
    I offer you my heart
    Instead of my poverty

    Lively woman from Málaga...

    ---------------------------------

This is an old Mexican song. Málaga is a place in Spain. According to the Internet, "salerosa" means something like lively, charming, spirited, socially graceful, etc.
