Soft machine, where've you been?
Reading your stars in magazines
Plastic bags, bubble wrap
On thirty-day trial, now send it back

Kick in the door to the world you're waiting for
It could be yours, do you ever wish for more?
Yeah, yeah, find what's there, this life's rare
Kick in the door to the world you're waiting for

Milk and rice make a mix
Break upon bricks, you execute tricks
They sell your dreams in overdrive
The future may call but never arrive

Kick in the door to the world you're waiting for
It could be yours, do you ever wish for more?
Yeah, yeah, find what's there, this life's rare
Kick in the door to the world you're waiting for

Kick in the door

No delay, time to fly
See China kites, Vancouver skies
Clear the room, sell your bed
Sleep standing up, start getting ahead

Kick in the door to the world you're waiting for
It could be yours, do you ever wish for more?
Yeah, yeah, find what's there, this life's rare
Kick in the door to the world you're waiting for

Yeah, yeah, find what's there, this life's rare
Kick in the door to the world you're waiting for
To the world you're waiting for

General CommentThis is a great song. I don't see how they could have been good enough to make the Triple J Hottest 100 (2000), and then go extinct.
