Holding pistols in their pockets,
Shooting lead flies through the night.
We're hitting targets as these rockets,
Are streaking horror in the skies.
We are closing up the shutters,
We are bringing out the dead.
While all the children under covers,
Hide underneath their beds.

Singing songs, as we try to sleep.
We sing songs while they try to sleep.
We sing songs while they try to,
Fall asleep with the morning sun.

Landmines beneath their footsteps,
Smartbombs are wrapped in sheets.
As we ae ruined in the wrecage,
and scattered in the streets,
So open up our coffins,
And save us from ourselves.
Just let the skies fill with explosions,
And empty bullet shells.

Ring the sounds
Through this blackhole,
As we try to sleep with the morning sun.

The ran was blasting off the tiles,
And down on the streets the damned.
Silently lurking in the darkness,
Shadows and sirens scream and dance.
They are shooting off in silence,
and the streets are filled with light.
While all the people in the fire,
Are burning up alive.

Their lives are saved by the morning sun,
Keeps the fire burning in everyone.
She holds her head to a loaded gun,
C'mon pull the trigger,
In front of everyone.

The axe hits the bell and rings out the sound of the morning,
It's beautiful she said.

General Commenti agree this band should be huge!!

well i think this song is about the doolittle raids obviously. about how a bunch of planes went to japan and bombed sevral places [after pearl harbor] and how it put the people in fear

'their lives are saved by the morning sun'
refers to the feeling of being glad to wake up to the morning sun and know you are still alive

and if you know wat the doolittle raids was about you can just peice together what the song means
