Well I swear that you came in the form of rain
That had frozen somewhere along it's way
Through the evening sky so the trees got tired and laid on the ground

Well I swear that you marched in like a big gust of wind
All cutting through our clothes, such an easy attempt
To convince us there's no reason we should be outside

And when you speak, it's like fire
All the smoke seeps from your mouth
And all your talk, of such burdens
No it won't bring me and all my friends down

Well I swear that you spilled into my room last night
All cuddling me in sheets so tight
That I didn't move I just laid around until the early afternoon

So now we're at the bars with guitars and trying hard
Oh to keep the conversation going, trying to ignore the silence growing
(And I know it is true) so we better get runnin'

C'MON!

And all your thoughts, they're so tired
All your bullets won't take aim
And, oh, your face, it's so stern now
No, we won't be scared, no, we won't back down

We will sing (we will sing)
Pretty songs about love
And we will fight (we will fight)
Cause that's what it takes
And we won't back down
No, we won't shut our eyes and go to sleep

And we will write (we will write)
All over your walls
And we won't dance (we won't dance)
To your music at all
And we'll do what it takes
Oh, to get through to you

And we will sing (we will sing)
Pretty songs about love
And we will fight (we will fight)
Cause that's what it takes
And we won't back down
No, we won't shut our eyes and go to sleep

Haha, i agree, Nights of the living Dead is overrated in my opinon. "God put down your gun, can't you see were dead" and "The microphone cut off so were screaming at the top of our lung" are to amazing lines, but the rest of hte song is just meh for me.

Fell down the Stairs is my fav song personally.

Anyways, to me this is just about the passion of a new relationship. The first couple of weeks of being together... its awkward, your still figuring each other out, but your totaly engrosed in each other and are full of optimizim towards the future, that you can conquer anything.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
