Come into this world, Oh
With your hands tied up
I can see your pants around your ankles and the floor
You and I did spend that one day
In bed counting sheep
Maybe we could sleep it off with your best friend's pills

I can describe what it's like to be sad if it's sharp enough

Go into through this small hole
With your hands tied up
I can see you dance
Around my bedroom through the door
You and I did spend that time dodging sleep for weeks
Maybe we could grind our teeth to your best friends coke

I can't describe what it's like to be sad if it's sharp enough

Come into this small hole
With your pants and tie off
I can feel you press it up
When my hips hit the floor

I can't describe what it's like to be sad if it's sharp enough

General CommentFirst, I just got this video (along with other audio tracks from unknown rock/punk bands) and immidiately loved it. I love the energy in the music, and it really has a good original sound. I hope to hear more from these guys.

Here are some possible corrections. I heard a few things differently from the lyrics posted.
On the second line i hear "i can feel your pants around my ankles and the floor"
I was thinking "i can't describe" for the first one too (typo?)
I also hear "Come in through this small hole" the first time he sings it. The second time seems to be correct.
Well thats all I've got for now. Hopefully more people will hear this song and come post!!

General Commentself explanatory that this song appears to be about a close friend has died. "i can't describe what it's like to be sad" is evidentally grieving for their death. The rest of the song seems to be recalling encounters with this person.

If you've only heard the single, check out the album "Who Are You Listening To?", out now :)

General Commenti was thinking the same thing, about cutting..

General CommentSeveral mentions of drugs in this song. "if it's sharp enough" could be referring to needles. "pants around your ankles" could also be a reference to heroin use (tying a belt around your arm to make the veins appear - they do it in Trainspotting)

General CommentEither there is a girl ghostwriting the lyrics on this album, or their singer is gay.

    Come into this small hole
With your pants and tie off
I can feel you press it up
When my hips hit the floor

That pretty much says it right there. More examples in the other songs on the album.

Anyway, to me the song seems to be about the numb feeling one gets after a break-up. He's reminiscing about (sex and drugs with) his ex and feeling too depressed to even cry, hence the chorus lyrics.

General Commenti doubt this song really means anything... it's still ok though.
