"Nobody Loves A Fat Girl" as written by and James Croce....
Nobody loves a fat girl
But oh how a fat girl can love
Nobody seems to want me
I'm just a truck upon the highway of love

I'm all alone inside of my form
When every ounce of me is dyin' to keep somebody warm
Nobody loves a fat girl
But oh how a fat girl can love

Nobody loves a fat girl
But oh how a fat girl can love
Nobody seems to want me
I'm just a truck upon the highway of love

The only game I can get the boys to play
Is to have them sit around and try to guess how much I weigh
Nobody loves a fat girl
But oh how a fat girl can love, pretty mama
Oh how a fat girl can love

General CommentLove the artist, but had to look this song up online as I hadn't realized it was one of his. Obvious and sad meaning, but perfect for today. Someone near and dear to me (has to be) just called to schedule an appoitment for a medical weight loss diet. She did it for HER and no one else, and I'm sure she feels GREAT about it. Sadly, having the wrapping paper is most important in our society. It opens doors from God's most visual creatures: men. Sad, simple tune, but not necessarily true. Men of quality know what's important in a woman. Let's not sell all of them short. There are many wonderful men out there who don't put looks first on their list, thank god...
