"Everybody's Fool (Demo version)" as written by Amy Lee, Ben Moody and David Hodges....
Perfect by nature
Icons of self indulgence
Just what we all need
More lies about a world that

Never was and never will be
Have you no shame don't you see me
You know you've got everybody fooled

Look here she comes now
Bow down and stare in wonder
Oh how we love you
No flaws when you're pretending
But now I know she

Never was and never will be
You don't know how you've betrayed me
And somehow you've got everybody fooled

Without the mask where will you hide
Can't find yourself lost in your lie

I know the truth now
I know who you are
And I don't love you anymore

Never was and never will be
You don't know how you've betrayed me
And somehow you have everybody fooled

It never was and never will be
You're not real and you can't save me
Somehow now you're everybody's fool

General CommentI think this song means...just be yourself. stop being fake, worthless and pathetic.that will just make you ugly on the inside.

General Commentthere are actually two versions that are 'not fallen versions'. they both sound similar to each other, but i still think that they're both better than the one on fallen.
This song is about posers, people who are just so fake and to one person it is glaringly obvious but no one else can seem to see it, bowing down to their icons of self-indulgence.

General CommentThere's another version? Is the music differnt or the lyrics? From either this or the Fallen one that is.

And I agree atleast about this one. The music sounds much better on this, spacier like old Evanescence compared to most fallen tracks.

General CommentThe music is slightly different between the two versions that were not on Fallen. The lyrics are exactly the same across all three, but I can't off the top of my head remember how the music differs. They sound really similar though, nothing drastic at all.

General CommentAmy wrote it for her little sister when she was becoming one of those "omg, britney's so awesome" girls.
Is there any way to submit corrections to songs cuz I know what that "some guy" is saying, and the song is not called "not Fallen version" lol, it's called Everybody's Fool 2001-2002 demo v.1 (or v.2... the lyrics are the same)

btw, the guy says something along the lines of this:

"The dynamic of symmetrical social riots
Can be summed together in broad statements,
That what has become blueprint for all,
And all have been reduced to the space of one"

General CommentI hope there is a way, but I haven't found one yet. There's some lyrics on this site that need some serious correcting... *stares sternly at the 'Hell's Angel' "song".*

General Comment>The lyrics are exactly the same across all three,

No, the "No Flaws when you're pretending," line is replaced by "Too abd we didn't know she," on this version.

    >Is there any way to submit corrections to songs cuz I know what that "some guy" is saying,

I Shall fix it. Thanks for informing me what it is.

    General CommentAnother difference is that

    "Without the mask
    Where will you hide?
    Can't find yourself
    Lost in your lies"

Is replaced by the 'some guy talking' part. I like the Fallen version best, but the other two are good too.
