"Metronomes" as written by and Mark Gajadhar Morgan Henderson....
And every soldier's face is burnt,
and it's a mask of withered flesh.
And their hands have turned to rifles now,
and they kill everything and anything they touch.

So watch the trees swaying in the breeze,
keeping beat to the butchery.

And every subway station's wrecked,
it shuts down and off.
And business men in a panic: "Here they come! Here they come!"
And they collect power killing love.

So watch the bat,
a picnic death camp.
Keeping beat to the butchery.

So children come burn the skyscapers
and the city's alive.
Come clean within you.
And the metronome clicks like anew,
and the metronome clicks over our skulls.

And every single window pane is smashed,
and every compass smiling broken glass.
Here's a place where the soldiers came,
to rake up all that they could take.

So toss another bottle,
pull another pin.
Light up the sky in a butchery.

So children come burn the skyscapers
and the city's alive.
Come clean within you.
And the metronome clicks like anew,
and the metronome clicks over our skulls.

So children come burn the skyscapers
and the city's alive.
Come clean within you.

So children come burn the skyscapers
and the city's alive.
Come clean within you.
And the metronome clicks like anew,
and the metronome clicks over our skulls.

    General CommentI think that

"And the national looks like a new
And the national looks over our schools"

    is actually

"And the metronome clicks like anew
And the metronome clicks over our schools"

The rest of the lyrics otherwise sound pretty good but it's always hard to tell for sure.

And ^ to shfifty five, they might be releasing it....later on? in an interview, the bassist mentioned an ep they were thinking of releasing with this song. otherwise your best bet is downloading it.

General Commentincomplete thought from before: does anyone know the lyrics or even the title of the song that comes after this on the unreleased part of the album?

General CommentThe other two songs I have from the unreleased section are labeled Champagne Party and Gladiators(acoustic, sounds sort of like Against Me!). I don't know if they're correct or what.

General CommentI read an interview with Morgan, the bassist. This is his favorite song off the new album.

This song is actually called "Metronomes".

He said it's a B-side and will be released on the next single (which I think is going to be either Love Rhymes or Peacock-- Trash Flavored Trash is also going to be released. It was supposed to be the first single)

General Commenti can hear the beat of the soldier's marching in the song. i think this sound really should have made it onto the cd.
