"Too Late" as written by and Melanie/schekeryk Safka....
There's a party going on somewhere
You should know where to go
And if you want to be with me baby
I won't leave you alone
'Cause this world isn't the only place that I want to be

I feel tortured I feel that I'm all gone
My heart isn't a rock
Come on baby come and steal my siesta
And all that you have

And I want to make love to oh all through the night
Tell me why do you hold your head so fucking high

'Cause too late, oh its too Late
I'm only half the woman I should be
Oh its too late
Oh its too late
I'm only half that I should

I don't want it, I don't want to be second
How long for me now?
Come on baby come and steal my siesta
And all that you have

And I want to make love to you all long through the night
Tell me why do you hold your head so fuking high

'Cause too late, oh its too Late
I'm only half the woman I should be
Oh its too late
Oh its too late
I'm only half that I should

I was dreaming of somewhere, away from here
I was hoping that your love, away from here
I've grown, oh I've grown

It ain't love
It ain't love
It ain't love
It ain't love

General CommentI think this song in all obviousness if you read through the lyrics, is talking about a girl who is in love with a guy who doesn't full appreciate her or love her in the same way. She's telling the guy that she's there if he wants her, that he makes her feel whole, and is frustrated and in agony through his unsympathetic actions towards her feelings. In the end she realises that she was living a fantasy, and he was never in love with her and perhaps she was never truly in love with him. That's my interpretation anyway, only the person who wrote the lyrics knows for sure though ;)
