"Be Strong" as written by Delta Goodrem, Bridget Benenate and Matthew Gerrard....
Are you swimming upstream in oceans of blue?
Do you feel like your sinking?
Are you sick of the rain after all you've been through?
Well I know what you're thinking
When you can't take it
You can make it
Sometime soon I know you'll see

'cause when your in you're darkest hour
And all of the light just fades away
When you're like a single flower whose colors have turned to shades of gray
Well hang on and be strong

Where taking each step one day at a time
You can't loose your spirit
Let live and let live forget and forgive
It's all how you see it
And just remember keep it together
Don't you know you're never alone

'cause when you're in your darkest hour
And all of the light just fades away
When you're like a single flower whose colors have turned to shades of gray
Well hang on, and be strong

No you're not defeated
And soon you'll be smiling once again
Then you won't have to feel it
Let it go with the wind
Time passes us by
And know that you're aloud to cry

'cause when you're in your darkest hour
And all of the light just fades away
When you're like a single flower whose colors have turned to shades of gray
Well hang on and be strong

General Commentit's about not giving up on life and lifting your head up high and being brave and showing alot of courage through the bad times you have to go through in life. especially if you're going through a serious illness. this song was dedicated to belinda emett who's battling some bone disease..

General CommentThis song has helped me through a lot. I found out I had two serious medical conditions half a year ago, and as I was struggling to cope with school, and friends and being sick, this song gave me strength. It made me realise that no matter how hard things get, I'm not alone, and I can get through it. Even when it was one bad thing after another, and I felt like there was never going to be an end, this song helped me by encouraging me to know that I shouldn't give up hope. I used to feel like I was letting everyone down by crying, and the line "know that you're allowed to cry" took a weight off my shoulders and allowed me to not keep everything bottled up inside. It's a beautiful, inspirational song and I love it.

My InterpretationI found about this song from my friend as i was struggling with grief as i lost my grandma 7 weeks ago. She told me to listen to this song when i felt grief the worst so whenever i put this song on it basically taught me not to give up and stay strong which is hard.
