"Fewer Words" as written by and Damon Michael Gough....
Bet you wish you knew what time it is
And it's clear that you don't
Understand a love that requires fewer words
It's been a while since we spoke
But there's still hope

If we materialize the myth
We never trivialize the kiss
Oh it feels like there's no fire left in your eyes
And this is how love dies

General CommentThis song may be short but it is one of their best. This song is about a couple that just broke up and they're realizing how they are slowing drifting apart.

General Commenti just saw Badly Drawn Boy a couple weeks ago and he said that he wrote this song about his friend and a fellow performer Elliott Smith. He was watching a video on him and it inspired him to write this song. Either way you take it, i think this song is one of the most beautiful songs written and is my favorite off of 1+1=1.
