"Drink 'til We're Gone" as written by and Benjamin Nichols....
Ife is short
Despite of your plans
So tell the girls they're pretty while you can
'cause one day they're gone
And all you got left
Some empty bottles and an old country song
Plays on and on

I wasted my time
With these cigarettes
And these ashes are all I got left
Watch this old town
Nothing's left for me
Wash downstream
And into the sea

because this big old river
Will kill us in time
'till then we'll drink it's weight
In cheap beer and wine
We can drink just as fast
As the river is strong
And we'll drink 'till we're gone

General CommentAwesome song! It simply means that there is no time to waste and you can do nothing about it; we are just drinking it all away.

General CommentSong is too true...life is too short. Do what you REALLY want to do. Not what your friends, peers, or even family wants you to do. Dont go to school if you dont want a degree, dont work for an asshole just for money, do EXACTLY what you want to do. Never do anything else...trust me. I go to school, trying to be big and make money in my later years, but now i realize I should have stayed home and become a cowboy. just a waste of money and time.
