    The song has a strong meaning to it , it says to look through the eyes of another person or walk in their shoes in the movie brother bear kenais dead brother turns him into a bear after killing kodas mother when he takes a look through the eyes of a bear he realizes that their life is hard and that they're not beasts or thieves but kind creatures, he soon realized after he learns that she was trying to protect her baby like any human mother would do
