"The World's Not Waiting (For Five Tired Boys in a Broken Down Van)" as written by and Wentz/stump/trohman....
This might just be a waste of time
there's no one I'd rather waste
My time with than all my best friends
So start the car up

We'll all take turns not for the worst
We're all "has-beens" and "never-were's"
And we're all in the back singing "Roxanne"
Just watching life pass us by
Pass us by

As if we cared
Enough to try to catch up
Enough to make up for lost time
Enough to make up for lost time, yeah

We've been down
We've been out
We've been hanging 'round
Tip our glasses to no direction, yeah
Start the van
Get me out of this one horse town
Waste this night

We've been down
We've been out
We've been hanging 'round
Tip our glasses to no direction, yeah
Start the van
Get me out of this one horse town
Waste this night
Waste this night

We've been down
We've been out
We've been hanging 'round
Tip our glasses to no direction, yeah
Start the van
Get me out of this one horse town
Waste this night

General Commentokay theres a reason why it says 5 boys, no the 5th memebr isnt chris like many ppl think.

this song was on their first cd, "fall out boy's night out with your girlfriend" when they made that cd, Andy want even in the band, and they had 2 other guys instead, but after that cd i think the two others quit so thats where andy came in.

thats why on the cover of that cd (fall out boys evening..." there is patrick, pete, joe and two other guys, and andy not in it

just wanted to cear that up for you guys

General Commentthis song reminds me so much of "ballad for the lost romantics" by new found glory
it has the same theme, like best friends chilling and not caring about anything else and toasting to themselves
this is my favorite fall out boy song i think, for that reason

General Commentyea this song is pretty grand. like waitingforsunday says, it's all about having the best time with your friends wherever you're going and whatever you're doing. i love the bit where a bunch of them are singing the chorus coz it gives you the feel of "togetherness" and how close the guys are. i can just imagine them all with their arms around eachother with beers in their hands and swaying and singing along lol.
