It would simply say everything,
If you would, take a pen and
Write my name on friend,
Who never cared to let me inâ?¦

Then take a fast ravine,
That for three years swimmin' straight up stream,
And the wind,
The wind will drag me down in the endâ?¦

You live inside my wall, and I,
I reach back and hit you harder than God fallsâ?¦
Christ amen, amen, amenâ?¦

You're such a line to break, but I'm,
I'm so scared to make a fucking mistake
In the endâ?¦
But I just want to be happy again,
Againâ?¦.

Until it all falls down,
And where does that leave me?
With things, things,
I've got so many things to sayâ?¦
And with a broken heart,
And a straight face,
I'm saying brotherâ?¦
Help meâ?¦
Brother would you help me?

It's just a natural phase that I,
I go through, and then it's taken away,
And then bam, bam I'm fixed,
I'm fixed, I'm fixed, I'm fixedâ?¦

But I'm in another place to be where I,
I can't sleep without the thought
Of me being so,
So damn sick,
But I'm sick, I'm sick, I'm sickâ?¦

So take this song, take this song awayâ?¦
Until it all falls down,
And where does that leave me?
With things, things,
I've got so many things to sayâ?¦
And with a broken heart, and a straight faceâ?¦
And he always said,
Reach for the girl, reach for the girl,
And hold her closeâ?¦

Believe you can shine when you're silver,
And I promise you gold,
I promise you goldâ?¦
And whenever you're dark inside,
Don't let goâ?¦

Remember there's rain,
And there's candy,
And Christmasy winter snow,
The snow, the snowâ?¦

And remember I love you the same,
And I'll strangle your painâ?¦
And he tells me to sing,
So I sing, and I sing for my brother,
Who keeps me sane,
And tells me everything will be,
Okayâ?¦

I'm never alone,
No I'm never alone,
I'm not alone,
Not aloneâ?¦

i don't know if the first person was kidding, but this song is not about someone who hates their brother. Its about someone who turns to his brother when he is down. He feels guilty for bringing his brother down with him by burdening him with his problems. This is like a thank you to his brother slash I'm in a really dark place right now and i need to write it out.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
