"Gimme Gimme Gimme" as written by and Gregory Regis Ginn....
Gimme gimme gimme gimme
I need more, I need more
Gimme gimme gimme gimme
Don't ask what for, don't ask what for

Sitting here I'm a loaded gun
Waiting to go off
I've got nothing to do
But shoot my mouth off

Gimme gimme gimme gimme
I need more, I need more
Gimme gimme gimme gimme
Don't ask what for, don't ask what for

I know the world's got problems
I've got problems of my own
Not the kind that can't be solved
With an atom bomb

Gimme gimme gimme gimme
I need more, I need more
Gimme gimme gimme gimme
Don't ask what for, don't ask what for

You know I'm gonna go out
Get something for my head
If I keep on doing this
I'm gonna end up dead

Gimme gimme gimme gimme
I need more, I need more
Gimme gimme gimme gimme
Don't ask what for, don't ask what for

Gimme gimme gimme gimme
I need more, I need more
Gimme gimme gimme gimme
Don't ask what for, don't ask what for

General Commenti think that complaining about the lyrics is pretty useless, considering maynard didn't even write them. go complain on the black flag section if you have a problem.

General Commentdefinetly has to do with some greedyness.
now it could be of war.
could it be the govornment is asking more and more money from people to "solve our problems" and bomb other country.

General CommentDon't know what the hell pumkinhed is trying to say. I think it's more about frustration and anxiety than just desparation, the Black Flag version was anyway. It's great how they can take a song that's supposed to be about a personal issue, and in the context of eMOTIVe, give it that political edge.

General CommentFrom the context of this album, It appears to me that Maynard is playing the role of the American government. After 5 tracks of anti-war /anti-govt, the line "I need more, I need more" can all too easily be heard as "I need war, I need war" (or any combination of the two). When interpreted in this way, the rest of the song falls into place (Don't ask why we REALLY went to Vietnam/Iraq, etc...)

General Commentits not about drugs... its about a person who hates war and is fighting in it... and how stupid war is "I know the world's got problems
I've got problems of my own
Not the kind that can't be solved
With an atom bomb " this song is kind of suicidal also... it kicks ass

General Commentdoes anybody else know that this is originally a black flag song? i find it strange how it would be covered, but it seems obvious to me that this song is about a person who doesn't understand why their country is trying to fix the problems of the rest of the world when the citizens within have problems of their own
