What you've accomplished...
Towards me was sickening.
So I'll be sure to return the favor.
Horrible you just hurt me!
As you enter...
The anger you have become.
With rounds that enter my gun.
You killed me...
I haven't asked much, but I'll ask you...
Why would you destroy your best friend?

I'm so tired of looking...
Tired of gazing...
Over looking into mirrors just to see the reflection cry.
Watching the reflection cry...
So plain and simple.
So regretful but with anger...
With anger I need you to die.
As you die in the end will you?

As they plan on burying your lifeless body...
I'll be sure to shatter the tombstones that are laid...
There's nothing more I'd rather see...
Than you chasing bullets as you fall into a tub...
Then your heart goes comatose...
And your appendages are torn off...
Send me out with the harmony cause you're gone...
You're gone...
YOU'RE GONE!!!

Place this picture of my face in your lovers' hands!!!
Watch her dying in pain and in disbelief.
You're gone...
YOU'RE GONE!!!

YOU'RE GONE!!!
Now you're gone...
I feel that I've done my part...
But now it's time to stop this beating heart...
How could you even go?
How could you destroy!!!
Forgiveness is just not here.
Your best friend?
Your best friend!!!
I feel that I have done my part...
But now it's time for me to stop my beating heart...

whoa, instead of the part where i thought he said "HURT, by my best friend" it's

i'll never be hurt again (i'll never be hurt again)

    by my best friend"

This song is great. I think the guy who wrote it just got his heart broken, and because of his despair he wants her to die, and himself.

its a song about a best friend who went behind his bud's back to fuck his buddies girlfriend. he can't forgive his friend, and hes going to cut him off his beating heart. it doesn't mean literaly kill him but end the relationship. to destroy the heart is like ending the essence of connection between the two.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Bron-Y-Aur Stomp
Led Zeppelin
This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.

When We Were Young
Blink-182
This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
