"Don't look at me now,"
She said with eyes that I can hardly take
"'Cause I'm stuck with a smile
That doesn't fit me anymore."

She said
"Who wants a life that's filled with semesters
And useless knowledge and wasted credits?
You could stay here tonight
Or maybe forever
And no one has to know
'Cause I won't let you go."

And I can't wait to write you a letter
For every day that I can't bear
You can fill these moments
With words like forever
But you gotta swear
Don't forget to remember me

She said with a smile
That screams of tears
And not another word
"Gonna spend my nights either sleepless
Or dreaming about you."

She said
"Who wants a life of lost adolescense
That's filled wtih regrets
And antidepressants?
I've said it before
And you know that I meant it
You're all I want to know
And I won't let that go."

And I can't wait to write you a letter
For every day that I can't bear
You can fill these moments
With words like forever
But you gotta swear
Don't forget to remember me

Let's just hope that nothing happens
Wait forever not for me
Lifelong problems and last kisses
All you ever gave to me

Let's just hope that nothing happens
Wait forever not for me
Lifelong problems and last kisses
All you ever gave to me
(All you ever gave to me)

And I can't wait to write you a letter
For every day that I can't bear
You can fill these moments
With words like forever
But you gotta swear
Don't forget to remember me (x2)

General CommentI really like this song, no matter how annoying the singer's voice is. He looks rather attractive on stage as well.

General CommentNot too sure about the meaning, but I think it's an amazing song. I don't see how he's annoying though.

General CommentThis reminds me of a song you would put on a mixtape for someone you love who is going away to college or something like that.

General CommentIt's all about a girl who tells a guy all this stuff like "Gunna spend my nights either sleepless or dreaming about you" but she doesn't mean it, filling her moments with "words like forever", and it's killing him

General CommentPaper...before a relationship, someone who is depressed or emo and is sad all the time..."paper-thin"...
Rock...during the relationship, they feel so strong like they can withstand everything...
Scissors...the end of the relationship...cut apart.

The first verse is before the relationship, while they're just meeting.
The second verse is during the relationship.
The third verse is after the relationship...a bitter breakup.

This band is one of the most emo bands I've ever heard...they certainly put lots of emotion into their songs, and their melodies are really cool, but their lyrics are so DEPRESSING.

General Commentgymclasshero, finally someone who tells the truth! no one else gets it. everyone thinks that jamisonparker was just misunderstood, but actually, their lyrics made perfect sense. i like the way you described the title, because i, too, was one of the people who used to not get it.
