I don't want to wake up today
'Cause everyday's the same
And I've been waiting so long
For things to change
I'm sick of this town
Sick of my job
Sick of my friends
'Cause everyone's jaded
Sick of this place
I want to break free
I'm so frustrated

I just want to jump (jump!)
Don't want to think about tomorrow (jump!)
I just don't care tonight
I just want to jump (jump!)
Don't want to think my sorrow
Let's go, whoa:
Forget your problems
I just want to jump

I don't want to wake up one day
And find out it's too late
To do all the things I want to do
So I'm gonna pack up my bags
I'm never coming back
'cause the years are passing by
And I've wasted all my t-t-time

I'm sick of this house
Sick of being broke
Sick of this town that's bringing me down
I'm sick of this place
I want to break free
I'm so frustrated

I just want to jump (jump!)
Don't want to think about tomorrow (jump!)
I just don't care tonight
I just want to jump (jump!)
Don't want to think my sorrow
Let's go, whoa:
Forget your problems I just want to jump
I just want to jump

I can't take it anymore
I can't take it anymore
I can't take it anymore

Forget tomorrow
I just want to jump (jump!)
Don't want to think about tomorrow (jump!)
I just don't care tonight
I just want to jump (jump!)
Don't want to think my sorrow
Let's go, whoa:
Forget your problems
Time to let them go
Whoa
Forget tomorrow
I just want to jump (jump!)
I just want to jump (jump!)
Yeah!
I just want to jump (jump!)
I just want to jump

It's not a big deal or anything, but on the line "sick of my friends 'cause everyones cheating" it's jaded, not cheating. ;)

At first, I thought this song was about wanting to commit suicide, but then I listened to it more, and now I agree with xxspluvrxx. I think it's about being at a concert and wanting to just JUMP and not do anything else. It's about loving the exhiliration you get from just jumping and listening to the music, and about not caring about anyting else in the world. If you haven't been to a concert, be sure you go and JUMP!

Frist of all shadow if u don't like Simple Plan then get the hell out of their lyrics. And second a good song shows emotion and that is what this song does, so go to hell.

kids, if you're going to steal an idea from a van halen song, at least give it a different title. i like simple plan and all, but come on, blatantly swiping the idea from someone like VH. but it could be about being at a concert, but first impression is that it's about jumping to suicide. and being rather excited about it, for that matter.

Dude, this is NOT about suicide! Sure, usually Simple Plan's songs are about depression, but get real! They're just saying that they're tired of they're old lives and want to jump into a new one! If it was about suicide would they sound happy?

I agree that at first the song does seem to be about suicide, but when you listen closer, it's not. In it he says he doesn't want to wake up one day and find out it is too late to do all the things he wants to do, so he's going to packup and leave. The song is about taking chances and doing the things in life that you want to do. All he is saying is he doesn't want to become old without seeing the world and experiencing things. It's not suicide, but the opposite, it's about living your life to the fullest.

By whining about it constantly? So you go to a show and escape your problems by listening to a guy walllow in self-pity and moan about how life isn't fair. Good job, Simple Plan. Way to know what the hell you're doing.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
