"Dead Enough For Life" as written by and Ole Anders/komor Olsen....
Proof and disproof
Efficiency of prayer
To false to be harmless
Can never get enough

I'm the three head watchdog
This my revelation, my only disease
A manifest of life

[Chorus:]

If I could reach trough, catch you
Make you understand,
If I'm not dead enough for life
Am I alive enough for death?

If I could reach trough, catch you
Make you understand
If I'm not dead enough for life
Am I alive enough for death?

A gift from the unknown, promises they gave us
Rejection our faith, and I fought this purpose

Emotions or images, drawn with a single line
Our methods are unsound, a life I cannot offer, I cannot offer...

My InterpretationI think this song is from the perspective of Cerberus, the multi-headed hellhound (or "three head watchdog") that guards the gates to the underworld in greek and roman mythology, or some creature in a similar state. The singer is trapped between worlds, chained to the gates of the underworld while being unable to truly pass into either death or life. Perhaps one has to be dead in order to be made alive, and vice-versa?
