"Life Less Ordinary" as written by and Barry Thomas Privett Scott Andrew Milstead....
Live a life less ordinary.
Live a life extraordinary with me.

Live a life less sanitary.
Live a life evolutionary with me.

Well, I hate to be a bother,
But it's you and there's no other, I do believe.
You can call me naive,
But I know me very well,
At least as far as I can tell,
And I know what I need.

The night you came into my life
Well, it took the bones of me
Took the bones of me.
You blew away my storm and strife
And shook the bones of me
Shook the bones of me.

By the way,
I do know why you stayed away.
I will keep tongue tied next time.

Live a life less ordinary.
Live a life extraordinary with me.

My face has said too much
Before our hands could even touch
To greet a hello.
So much for going slow.

A little later on that year
I told you that I loved you, dear.
What do you know?
This, you weren't prepared to hear.

I'm a saddened man.
I'm a broken boy.
I'm a toddler with a complex toy.
I'm falling apart
Since the outburst on your heart.

The night you came into my life
Well, it took the bones of me
Took the bones of me.
You blew away my storm and strife
And shook the bones of me
Shook the bones of me.

By the way,
I do know why you stayed away.
I will keep tongue tied, but

Honey, understand
Honey, understand.

I won't make demands.

Honey, understand
Honey, understand
We could walk without a plan.

Honey, understand
Honey…
Honey, understand
I won't rest in stone,
All alone.

Honey, understand
Honey, understand
I'm all ready to go.

But you already know.

Live a life less ordinary.
Live a life extraordinary with me.

If I could name you in this song,
Would it make you smile and sing along?

This is the goal,
To get into your soul.

If I could make you dance for joy,
Could that be the second chance to coy
The bird in hand
I would need
To help you understand.

The night you came into my life
Well, it took the bones of me
Took the bones of me.
You blew away my storm and strife
And shook the bones of me
Shook the bones of me.

By the way,
I do know why you stayed away.
I will keep tongue tied next time.

General CommentI believe the line is "live a life less sedentary," which makes sense since that is a lifestyle.

General Commentit's kind of funny... i had this exact situation with a guy i met last semester... it was blantantly obvious how he felt even before any words were ever said and yet when he finally came out and told me how crazy he was about me it made things somewhat awkward... but he finally ended up growing on me outrageously and i had to listen to this song at least 30 something times in less than a week just to get him out of my head... (i already have a bf lol)

General CommentI love this song. When i first heard it on the radio, i was hooked.
I think this song is about a guy who meets a girl and its love at first site for him. He went after her and told her how he felt, but the feelings werent mutual. Hes a saddened man but is trying to convince the girl it is right (Undertsand Honey). He wants to have another chance and wants to know is she sure that the feelings arent mutual (If I could name you in this song, Would it make you smile and sing along, This is the goal to get into your soul, If I could make you dance with joy, Could that be the second chance to coy) He says that he knows he messed up by being too aggressive and he will ease up by being "tongue tied next time".
I think it is good when you go to someone and tell them straight up how you feel, sometimes it doesnt work and the situation will turn out like this one, but its easier to know than to play a game for so long and put so much into someone for so long and find out that its not all the same. I have experienced this situation before but i wasnt "tongue tied next time"

General Commentbasically a story of girl takes guys breath away, guy falls in love w/ girl, girl doesnt feel the same, guy tries to convince girl of a 'perfect' life with him and then wants second chance.

General Commentnot necessarily perfect but more adventurous and fun. I think she already has a good life but he wants to make it really amazing

    "Live a life less ordinary
Live a life extraordinary with me"

also I think he was vocal about everything from the start but she wasn't ready for a relationship with someone who was coming on so strong

"By the way I do know why you stayed away
I will keep tongue tied next time"

General Commentguy falls in love with girl. girl (FROM THE BIGINING,ALREADY knows how he feels) doesnt feel the same way, BUT (goes along with it and) SAYS she does love him back. girl never falls in love with him. guys falls deeper but knows something is wrong. toward the end guy realizes she isn't happy with him. guy ends it cuz he "loves her enough to let her be happy, with or with out him".....this is what happened to me.

the worst part. GIRL SANG THIS VERY SONG TO ME ALMOST EVERYDAY. i should of found the meaning of this song soner..girl sang to me "Honey, understand
    Honey, understand
    I won't make demands

    Honey, understand
    Honey, understand
We could walk without a plan"
