"Paper Scars" as written by and Michael L. Shepard....
Fall into pairs
Like two ugly fish
Too rare for extinction, I know
The veins in your hand
Felt sort of like summer
Calm to the touch, oh no
And my god, how did we survive
The paper scars?
Oh, bless my stars

You said you're sorry
You said you're sorry
You said you're sorry
You said you're sorry

General CommentI love this song. Why no comments?

I think it's about an odd couple, that everyone made fun of. All the brutality they had to endure. Then one of them did something wrong - went back on the ideals or kissed someone else, whatever. Hence the 'you said you're sorry.'

General CommentThis song is so amazing.
Short and sweet and so pure.
It's about love- but it doesn't have to be about couples or whatever. It could be fraternal, and about two friends, or lovers, and yes I agree, their survival. They outsmarted society and here they are. Maybe one is apologizing to the other for what happened to them.

This song definately lifts me up.
