"Down With The Sickness" as written by and Michael/donegan Wengren....
[Spoken]
Do you feel that? Oh, shit.

Wah-ah-ah-ah
Wah-ah-ah-ah

Get up, come on get down with the sickness
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
Open up your hate and let it flow into me

Get up, come on get down with the sickness
You mother, get up, come on get down with the sickness
You fucker, get up, come on get down with the sickness
Madness is the gift that has been given to me

I can see inside you the sickness is rising
It seems that all that was good has died
Oh no, the world is a scary place
Now that you've woken up the demon in me, in me

Wah-ah-ah...
Get up, come on get down with the sickness
You mother, get up, come on get down with the sickness
You fucker, get up, come on get down with the sickness
Open up your hate and let it flow into me

Why can't you just buck up and die?
Get down with the sickness
Fuck you, I don't need this shit
Get down with the sickness
You stupid, sadistic, abusive fucking whore
Get down with the sickness
Here it comes
Get ready to die

Get ready to...die

General CommentI believe it is on par with it, Richard Cheese is a good musician to listen to because he obviously doesn't take what he does that seriously, you know; He does it for the fun of it.

General Commentpuppet_master_72, it's awesome if you forget about how the original sounds and just focus on what Richard's singing. I mean, imagine your mom singing along to this!

MOM: "You fucker, get up, come on get down with the sickness..."

It makes me laugh every time...

General CommentRichard Cheese takes music to the next level. His satire and parodies of music is really quite hilarious and quite unique. I prefer Richard over Weird Al just because he takes the song and creates an entire new genre to it and pokes fun at the reality of the original song.

General Commentwow this song actually sounds better than the original, this song makes a great lounge tune, the lyrics and the beat all seem to flow to make this one of the best adaptations of a song to a different genre i've ever heard

General Commenti agree, this version is much better than the original. Its so funny, the words do not match the beat and the way the song is sung. Richard cheese is the funniest thing since weird al

General Commenti love it because it waaay takes the piss out of all of those gay songs. when you put the lyrics to a different style of music you realise how stupid and meaningless the lyrics actually are. anyhoo i love this song so much
