"Workout, The" as written by and Hikaru Utada....
I was dancing with a dirty blond Texan
Charming accent but the music's playing too loud for talking
So I showed him how people in the Far East get down

Push it up, push it down
Pull it up, pull it down
Keep it up, keep it down
Now put me down
What a workout!

If you want, you can come
Come get it, get it
If you don't you may really regret it, 'gret it
Up and down till your knees start shakin' shakin'
ain't it good to be alive tonight

One life, two-time, three girls, four guys
Five ripples running up and down my spine
6.0 Make it sweet, drop another dime

I was talking with a born-again Christian
"So what's it like to start life all over?"
He sad "Amen,
I feel like I've been rediscovering the tomb of Tutankhamen."

Push it up, push it down
Pull it up, pull it down
Baby, don't put me down
What a workout!

What you want, it's a done deal
Shake it, shake it
What you don't, you can forget about it, 'bout it
Up and down, feel your brainwaves jumpin' jumpin'
Makes me want to take a dive

As we count to five

One life, two-time, three girls, four guys
Five ripples running up and down my spine

Can you hold on, someone's calling on the other line

Push it up, push it down
Pull it up, pull it down
Keep it up, keep it down
Now put me down
What a workout!

If you want, you can come
Come get it, get it
If you don't you may really regret it, 'gret it
Up and down till your knees start shakin' shakin'
Ain't it good to be alive tonight

One life, two-time, three girls, four guys
Five ripples running up and down my spine
6.0 Make it sweet, drop another dime

General Commentthis is a kinky song...it`s definitely about casual sex in a party... she`s not so innocent

General CommentJust because I either didn't see that comment or whatever the heck happened is no reason to be snotty at me, mercercy. And unless you happen to be Hikaru Utada, don't give it to me "blunt". I don't like it when people refuse to accept other people's opinions-- take it or leave it, my view is just as valid as yours. My opinion has many valid points, as I discussed in my previous post, and if you refuse to see that it makes some measure of sense, you could at least allow me to have my own opinion.

General CommentI still can not decide if it's about phone sex or about going to a club and having a good, kinky dance time.

Both seem to fit so well..it's too hard to choose which I should believe is the correct meaning of the song.
I wish Hikki were here to ask, lol.

Anyway, I kind of like how she's not afraid to write and sing about sex. It's completely natural, guys. Now, the drug possibility, well, I don't know, but I don't blame her if she really is referencing it in a way to reference having a good time. I would be slightly surprised, but, I wouldn't really care. Sex, though - there's nothing wrong at all with sex and you guys who are like "omg, my innocent little Hikki who sings my Kingdom Hearts songs is singing about getting hot in clubs and having phone sex11!!!1" need to wake up. She's a woman, she's not 13. Maybe I'm just biased because I love Hikki, but damn it, if she wants to sexily reference intercourse in her songs, who am I to try and stop her? :P

Honestly, I think at least two or three songs on this album have a sexual reference in them. She was probably trying to help the album sell in the US since this was the first US album technically (not counting "Cubic U/Precious"), and we all know what sells in the US -- sex!!

General CommentThe song is not about sex Lol at the person who commented "she's not a little girl who sings songs about kingdom hearts. sex is natural, blah blah blah"
Ahem, she didn't sing songs about kingdom hearts, wtf? She just composed a song one day, and Tetsuya Nemora, the creator of Kingdom hearts, decided to use her song in his work. Yes sex is a natural thing but it's explict and it's taboo in songs unless the song is x-rated. Like someone talking about themselves getting intimate with their partner, wouldn't you find that extremely inappropriate? Be real now. Utada Hikaru has a higher demeanor then singing about sex for her fans' entertainment, aside from Dirty Desire (which was sooo extremely cheesy). I think the song is just all about having fun and to me it's something random. I mean, have you seen the music video? It was completely irrelevant to anything and it's something random. It reminds me a lot of the song. There's no real meaning to it, and you guys are going to into detail with it like the freaking illuminati does with Lady Gaga, when they try to put her song's meanings on blast. Get over yourselves.

General CommentWow....I'm clueless on the meaning...but I sure know there's a lot of incorrect lyrics O.O

Push it up, push it down
Pull it up, pull it down
Keep it up, keep it down
Now PUT ME down, what a workout

    One life
    Two time
    Three girls
    Four guys
Five RIPPLES running up and down my spine
6.0 make it sweet, drop another DIME

    I was talking with a born-again Christian
"SO What's it like to start life all over?”
He said “Amen, I FEEL like I’ve been
    Rediscovering the tomb of Tutankhamun”

-Just let me know if you guys need me to type up the whole lyric thing...XD I know you might not be able to find all of the corrections....but don't miss the 6.0 not "six point oh" XD that's cute!! ^^

General CommentBoy I hope "Morphix" was joking about thinking the song was about drugs... That doesn't make sense...

I'm fairly sure this song is about phone sex. It's the only thing that fits with the 6.0 line, the bouncing between talking to people, paying another dime a minute to talk on the phone, getting a call on the other line, etc. It also fits the "put me down" part, as in "putting down a phone."

General CommentWings of a Wolf fails hard. Did you miss the "Common Sensiblity Group/Sarcasm Division" at the bottom of Morphix's comment?

Blunt: This song is about dancin' and meeting new people at the club. And having a good time, of course.
