"Talk Talk Talk" as written by William Jonathan Brown and Samuel Dylan Murphy Preston....
A healthy argument to start the day,
what better way
Would you, the fan of life
remove to tears?
Lend me your ears
But you spend all your time
Waiting in static shopping lines
And all your troubles and debates
Are solved in glossy magazines

Too much small talk leads to a small mind
So tell me what your views are
And I will tell you mine

Well how's the weather
(plain and boring)
It's back to work on
(Monday morning)
Oh let it go
Tell me things I'd like to know
Frighten me, enlighten me, oh no

Opinion can be void if not
presented from both sides
So speak your mind my dear,
your loves and fears
And nothing in between

Initiate, debate about
The way you hate the things I say
Rather than to spend another minute
Killing time

Too much small talk leads to a small mind
So tell me all your secrets
I'll never tell you mine

Well how's the weather
(plain and boring)
It's back to work on
(Monday morning)
Oh let it go
Tell me things I'd like to know
Frighten me, enlighten me, oh no

General CommentThis song reminds me of my first weeks of university. Brings back brilliant memories. The best 'years of your life'. I'd have to agree with that so far.

General CommentGreat song! heard it for the first time on the way to my first concert. Said to my boyfriend that i loved it and was singing along, then we got to the concert and found out that they were the support act. They sung this track AMAZINGLY! and ive been hooked on them ever since!

General CommentIt's about idle chit chat and how boring and dis-satisfying it really is.

General CommentThis song is great, i've listened to it loads and i'm still not bored of it.

He's finding their conversations boring and is fed up with the normal chit chat - 'hows the weather?'.

i thought some of these lyrics were different until i read this. what i was thinking makes no sense at all :\

General CommentThe lyrics sum it up perfectly, and the guitaring works in brilliant unison fashion.

    preston before he went bad..

I'm not one of those who have a dig for 'selling out' but their earlier stuff such as this was so much better than the, quite frankly 'ear disturbing' latest single, 'I luv u.'

over and out - great song!

General Commentthis song is kinda self-explanitory. it means that you shouldnt use small talk because it is boring. if youre serious about the relationship, tell the person full out what you believe, or else there will be complications
    preston is HOT!
