"In Memory Of" as written by Chad Everett Gilbert, Freddy Cricien, Maxwell Jayson, Toby Raymond Morse, George Guerra and David Kennedy....
I don't remember much today
My memories of you are so vague
But I will say, I feel you're watching over me now
I hope that I've made you proud
'Cause I remember how you cared for me.
I was only three,
Still I wonder how my life would be
I wish that you were here with me now
Somehow, would it be the same?

To all my friends who passed away
(Friends and family)
Memories will never fade with me
And I will never forget you
You'll never die, as long as I'm alive
To all my friends who passed away
(Friends and family)
Memories will never fade with me
And I will never forget you
You'll never die, as long as I'm alive.

I never thought that I'd be writing this
Man, I'm feeling such a pain, and emptiness and the lonliness
It's got me thinking about all the good times
I know you're still by my side, 'cause
You never let me down,
I never let you down
Always knew how to put a smile on my face now
How can I make you proud,
Honor you no doubt,
I'd do anything if I could bring you back.
I'd bring you back now.

To all my friends who passed away
(Friends and family)
Memories will never fade with me
And I will never forget you
You'll never die, as long as I'm alive
To all my friends who passed away
(Friends and family)
Memories will never fade with me
And I will never forget you
You'll never die, as long as I'm alive.

I wish that you were here with me.
I wish that you were by my side.
I know you're watching over me now.
So I will live my life.

To all my friends who passed away
Memories will never fade with me
And I will never forget you
You'll never die.

To all my friends who passed away
(Friends and family)
Memories will never fade with me
And I will never forget you
You'll never die, as long as I'm alive
To all my friends who passed away
(Friends and family)
Memories will never fade with me
And I will never forget you
You'll never die, as long as I'm alive.

General CommentHazen Street opened up for P.O.D. earlier this year. When this song was performed, Toby Morse (lead vocalist) explained that they lost a close friend while working on their album. They wrote this song as a tribute.

General CommentHazen Street is a very good band.
Not ruled by appearance and constantly trying to impress.
I believe all their songs have deep meaning.
So I must say, you are an idiot, what is the point in posting to say that? Your supposed to be giving your opinion on what the song is about.

I think this song is about someone close to him who has passed away, he is thinking back on all the good times they had together, and showing his respect for this person. He misses the person who died, and vows not to let anyone else close to him die.
