"I'd Rather Dance With You" as written by Eirik Glambek Boe and Erlend Otre Oeye....
I'd rather dance with you than talk with you
So why don't we just move into the other room
There's space for us to shake and hey, I like this tune
Even if I could hear what you said
I doubt my reply would be interesting for you to hear
Because I haven't read a single book all year
And the only film I saw, I didn't like it at all

I'd rather dance, I'd rather dance than talk with you
I'd rather dance, I'd rather dance than talk with you
I'd rather dance, I'd rather dance than talk with you

The music's too loud, and the noise from the crowd
Increases the chance of misinterpretation
So let your hips do the talking
I'll make you laugh by acting like the guy who sings
And you'll make me smile by really getting into the swing

Getting into the swing, getting into the swing
Getting into the swing, getting into the swing
Getting into the swing, getting into the swing
Getting into the swing, getting into the swing

I'd rather dance, I'd rather dance than talk with you
I'd rather dance, I'd rather dance than talk with you
I'd rather dance, I'd rather dance than talk with you

General CommentAcutally, I dont think its about two people not having much in common. I think it says something more in the lines of: Im sick of meeting new people using the small talk...sometimes its just so exhausting talking to somebody new, trying to impress him, asking him the same questions and etc. so the person is like "hey you know what, forget that, lets dance" and they share a much more intimate and special moment together.....its actually a great idea, i prefer to dance alot of times...:)

General CommentI heard this song for the first time ever yesterday and I've listened to it like 15 times since. It makes me want to dance around my apartment. You should check out the video to this song too. It's great.
