I never noticed the color of your eyes
until I saw them in the reflection of this knife.
green with envy for a life you never had.
bloodshot contempt when I extend my hand
(so breathe and show us what you've got underneath
clench your fists until they bleed)
see how and why I know
I don't think that this is what I want anymore
I don't care if God can save me now
here I sit with hands cupped and head bowed
and I wonder if you're out there have you sen my name in lifhts?
I don't care at all
In this world of kiss & tell I've got no stories to speak of now
silence fills this empty hole
so naive to think, that I could make you feel one thing
this excavation of my chest has produced nothing
bow your head and pull your eyes down to see
my hand around your wrist
I turn and twist this blade deeper into me
(you can't always get what you want but if you
try sometimes might just fin you'll die on you knees)
wait 'til the perfect comes

General Commenta guy ending his life as he's been let down by a girl, quite possibly after also taking her life. takes his life out of guilt and regret. my personal fave off the album, flows nicely from the instrumental. i'd just like to add that this band is a tribute to hardcore and it's a cruel irony that they go quite well unknown, as this is so much better than so much music out there.

General CommentSong is about a guy who can't find a girl to love him or whatever, aka "the perfect" girl. This is shown with the last line "wait 'til the perfect comes."

"I never noticed the color of her your eyes until I saw them in the reflection of this knife."
This line shows that he at least has a knife in front of the girl. In the end, however you find out...
"Bring your head down to see my hand around your wrist. I turn and twist this blade deeper into me."
He's really killing HIMSELF, not her.

"So green with envy for a life you never had. Bloodshot contempt when I extend my hand."
She's envious of the people with normal relationships, but when the normal guy attempts to reach out to her, she regards him as inferior.

"So, breathe and show us what you've got underneath! Clench your fists until they bleed!"
I'm pretty sure this is the guy talking to himself, telling himself that he should take some sort of action.

"See how and why I know. I don't think that this is what I want anymore. I don't care if God can save me now. Here I sit with hands cupped and head bowed."
He prays to God to figure out what to do about the problem. He ends up not wanting a relationship with the girl, but since he can't get a relationship with anyone, he wants to take some drastic measure.

"In this world of kiss and tell I've got no stories to speak of. Silence fills this empty hole. So naive to think that I could make you feel one fucking thing."
He's had no relationships, so he's using the phrase "kiss and tell" literally. He's naive (lacking experience) to think that he could make the girl feel anything towards him, although that's pretty obvious.
