Don't spit on me and shame yourself
Because you wish you were someone else
You look so clean, but you spread your dirt
As if you think that words don't hurt

You build up walls no one can climb
The things you do should be a crime
You're the queen of superficiality
Keep your lies out of my reality
And when you're nice, it's just a pose

You're one of those haters!
Traitors to the human race
Haters!
What a drag, what a waste
I'd like to see them disappear
They don't belong anywhere
Haters! Haters!

Spinning a web, that's hard to see
Of envy, greed and jealousy
Feeling angry, but you don't know why
Why don't you look me in the eye?
You want my friends
You want my clothes

You're one of those haters!
Traitors to the human race
Haters!
What a drag, what a waste
I'd like to see them disappear
They don't belong anywhere
Haters! Haters! Haters! Haters!

Different life forms different species
Broken promises and treaties
Talking 'bout exterminating
Not the haters, just the hating

You say your boyfriend's sweet and kind
But you still got your eyes on mine
Your best friend's got her eyes on yours
It all goes on behind closed doors
And when you're nice, it's just a pose

You're one of those haters!
Traitors to the human race
Haters!
What a drag, what a waste
I'd like to see them disappear
They don't belong anywhere

Haters!
Ready for the alibi
Haters!
Any shape, any size
I'd like to see them disappear
They don't belong anywhere
Haters! Traitors!
Haters! Haters!
Haters! Haters! Haters!

omg i'm tired of all these losers coming and posting comments about hilary duff....i mean sure u can express urself but this is songmeanings.net not ihatehilaryduff.com....soo if u want to express ur feelings on how much u hate her then go someplace else.....i'm sooo over it.....just b/c u dont think she's a good singer doesn't change my opinion about her i love her music and if u dont that's ur problem......

btw this song i heard was about lindsay lohan....the line where she says "You say your boyfriend's sweet and kind But you still got your eyes on mine"

i think that's about when she dated aaron carter and he cheated on her w/ lindsay lohan..

"Your best friend's got her eyes on yours" i think that's about when lindsay and ashlee simpson were friends and lindsay was dating wilmer and then he dumped her for ashlee. (btw that's y ashlee wrote boyfriend) : D

This song is so retarded, that it's actually funny. I laughed so hard when I heard it. Who actually sings a song about haters? Lame...

yeah..i SOO agree...Hilary sweetie you say you're "rock" baby, i've got some news for you...saying your "rock" doesn't make you rock..although everyone says they "love" you or "hate" you..the truth is you are all made up and fake, you are a simple trend. grow up and make some really money the way you know how sweets. And to Hilary fans...go ahead and say anything about me...like i care....and YES i am being a "hater" so what? its a free country.

Miss Duff i hope you understand that everyone in the eye of the media is critisized. Oh, and your "be yourself" thing is stupid considering you're making little girls buy your crap (ongong stuff wat an origianl names lolol) to make them "cool".

    "You want my clothes"

I don't want your clothes, i've got my own thank you.

strawberry angel: hilary duff's singing voice sounds like a nasily mary poppins. she has not one ounce of singing talent. she sucks, dude. open your eyes. haven't you ever wondered why all of her fans are like 12? they dont have the ability to tell good talent from bad talent.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
