"Charade" as written by Johnny Mercer and Henry N. Mancini....
When we play our charade
We were like children posing
Playing at games, acting at names
Guessing the parts we play

Oh, what a hit we made
We came on next to closing
Best on the bill, lovers until
Love left the masquerade

Sad little serenade
Song of my heart's composing
I hear it still, I always will
Best on the bill, charade

Song MeaningLove this song. I think it's about his marriage. It was the time when Mike and Cristina were estranged. But in one interview he said something like 'that marriage is for eternity, whatever will happen' - so "Sad little serenade, song of my heart's composing, I hear it still, I always will, best on the bill".
