"Rain Falls For Wind" as written by and Steele/clark....
I've been drinking
And I've been thinking of you
Now I know
I know the snow will let me know

I've been trying
But I've been lying to you
Now I know
I know the time will get me through

But any time I let you know
It's just a time to let me know
What it's all about

Rain falls for wind
You're only, ever on my mind
Rain falls for wind
You're only, ever on my mind

I've been drinking
And I've been thinking of you
Now I know
I know the snow will let me know

Rain falls for wind
You're only, ever on my mind
Rain falls for wind
You're only, ever on my mind

Rain falls for wind
You're only, ever on my mind
You never ever have the time
When I see you smile

Rain falls for wind
You're only ever on my mind
You never ever have the time
When I see you smile

General CommentI don't think this song is about anything particularly deep, just about desire for someone. "Rain falls for wind" could be interpreted as a way of saying "I would do whatever you want me to", replacing the protagonist and the object of his desire with "rain" and "wind" just because it's pretty imagery (I am the rain and you are the wind beneath me, or some such).

It's by far the most beautiful song the band have done, anyway.
