"Frame By Frame" as written by and Jarrod Gorbel....
Days bunch up in weeks, collaborate months against me.
The sheets are stained with evidence that our remains are now, drifting away.

I share with complete strangers my most personal of pleasures.
I scribble tidbits of useless mind info trash, treasure.
Spend hours, at my leisure, like sharpened precise tweezers.

Shifting through in the frame by frame
I walk the same path
I'll say the same lines
I do this every time
Do this every time

Dodging armpit stench aromatic
Wrapped up in my own self-induced stress panic
I think I am the only one in this shifting through

They'll collaborate in months against me.

General CommentI think everyone can relate to this song. I think it's about just the awfulness of daily repitition and how that sometimes gets to you. I love The Honorary Title... Great music!

General Commenti'm not completely sure but i think it could also be about addiction and not being able to let go of it while every day just runs into the next.

General CommentFor some reason i think its about being on tour "Days bunch up in weeks, collaborate in months against me" sounds like shows ahead and how long he has to be on tour,,"I share with complete strangers my most personal of pleasures. I scribble tidbits of useless mind info -- trash, treasure.
Spend hours, at my leisure, like sharpened precise tweezer" sounds like his personal life on paper as songs and how much times he spends doing it.."Shifting through in the frame by frame
    I walk the same path
    I’ll say the same lines
    I do this every time
    Do this every time
    Dodging armpit stench aromatic
Wrapped up in my own self-induced stress panic

General Commentsomehow this reminds me of getting stuck on a bus in traffic. and life is so boring that the only exciting thing to do is share your thoughts with complete strangers. to shock them or what not. the honorary title is amazing. :)

General CommentThe singer had a good relationship with this girl, but now things are taking a turn, and he is stuck in a rut. He is tired of the relationship, but it seems to be dragging on--"Days bunch up in weeks, collaborate in months against me." They were once happy together, but it's obvious that they are growing apart--"The streets are stained with evidence that our remains are now, drifting away." While he seems to be depressed by this loveless relationship, he doesn't want to let go because it had brought him so much happiness, and its possible that he likes the security that often comes along with having a girlfriend. He might be seeking the advice of other people, and while he knows what needs to be done, he doesn't know quite how to go about doing it.--"I share with complete strangers my most personal of pleasures. I scribble tidbits of useless mind info -- trash, treasure.
Spend hours, at my leisure, like sharpened precise tweezers."
He is tired of the beaten path that is his relationship with this girl, and the repetitive turn it has taken.--"Shifting through in the frame by frame, I walk the same path, I’ll say the same lines, I do this every time." He has reached the point at which he can no longer be a part of this, and wants to end it, but the girl still loves him, and he is trying to escape the fact that she is still desperately trying to make it work.--"Dodging armpit stench aromatic
Wrapped up in my own self-induced stress panic
I think I am the only one in this shifting through"

General Commentwhat do u put in a frame? usually a photograph. what do photographs do? they look nice. thats it. they cant do anything. so "shifting through in this frame by frame" is simply implying that he can do nothing but sit there and watch his life go by. and as far as i know, photographs dont lead very exciting lives. "i walk the same path, say the same lines, i do this everytime, i do this everytime" is saying that he does this routine over and over but where is it getting him? nowhere. man that sucks. im in that situation rite now. i know, i know, another stupid complaint by some person you dont really know or care about. but think, do u want to spend the rest of your life as a photograph, or do you wanna be the real thing. the person that can act on his own accord, who can fix what should have been fixed a long time ago. shifting through, thats where i am, shifting through with nowhere to go. its that one leap you have to take. over the bridge and through the tunnel, out of the frame. reality awaits us, and how much longer can we keep it waiting?

General CommentTo me this song can either be, his personal life story as of the moment. Where he's going through a redundancy. Singing, and writing and performing. To him, we are all complete strangers. And writing to him, as well as I, is a piece of who you are. It's my heart, and his too probably. And he's sharing it with us.

OR a relationship that's lost the passion and excitement. I know when that happens I write my every thought and he "I scribble tidbits of useless mind info -- trash, treasure.
Spend hours, at my leisure, like sharpened precise tweezers."

    does as well.

General CommentI believe this song is based on the period of time after you get out of a really long relationship, one of those which leave memories of itself emblazoned into your mind for days, weeks, months and seem to collaborate against you. It's basically when a good thing turns bad.
The song then transitions to this part:

Shifting through in the frame by frame
    I walk the same path
    I’ll say the same lines
    I do this every time
    Do this every time

Which essentially (and personally) means to me that the singer is going through the same steps with every new girl he meets, uses the same lines, does the same things, and still he can't help but feel as if he's still stuck in those same memories.

General CommentI believe this song is about time passing quickly, and feeling like your life has become dull and repetitive.
    .. or something like that.

General Commentfor some reason when i hear this song.
i feel its about a boy who is in love with a girl
    and knows its falling part
but will still do anything she wants pretty much.
    "I walk the same path
    I’ll say the same lines
    I do this every time
    Do this every time"

like he will follow her anywhere.

who knows, that is just what i got from it.

but i love this song !!!
