"We're All To Blame" as written by Stephen Martin Jocz, Deryck Jason Whibley, Ben Cook and Greig Andrew Nori....
Take everything left from me
All! to! blame!

How can we still succeed taking what we don't need?
Telling lies, alibis, selling all the hate that we breed,
Super-size our tragedies (you can't define me, or justify greed),
Bought in the land of the free, (land, free)

And we're all to blame,
We've gone to far, from pride to shame,
We're trying so hard,
We're dying in vain,
We're hopelessly blissful and blind,
To all we are,
We want it all,
With no sacrifice!

Realize we spend our lives living in a culture of fear,
Stand to salute say thanks to the man of the year,
How did we all come to this (you can't define me, or justify greed),
A greed that we just can't resist (resist)

And we're all to blame,
We've gone to far,
From pride to shame,
We're trying so hard,
We're dying in vain,
We're hopelessly blissful and blind,
To all we are,
We want it all,
With no sacrifice!

Tell me now,
What have we done,
We don't know,
I can't allow,
What has begun to tear me down believe me now,
We have no choice left with our backs against the wall!

And now,
We're all to blame,
We've gone to far,
From pride to shame,
We're hopelessly blissful and blind,
When all we need,
Is something true to believe,
Don't we all,
Everyone,
Everyone,
We will fall,

Cause we're all to blame,
We've gone to far,
From pride to shame,
We're trying so hard,
We're dying in vain,
We want it all,
Everyone,
Don't we all

General CommentIt's about politics. Everyone hates everyone else - "selling all the hate that we breed."
Not just republicans or democrats. I've never seen hate like the hate liberals have for Bush - and I've never seen hate like the hate the Islamofascists have for the US - AND I've never seen hate like the hate conservatives have for those who hate us. Don't reciprocate the hate, guys. Strike only in self-defence.

"Everyone wants it all with no sacrifice!" - If you think getting Bush out is the solution, think again. If you think keeping him in is the solution, think again. There is no perfect solution. Everyone wants it all with no sacrifice...one of the truest things around.

General CommentIs it me or every sum-41 and punk-like forum with more than 10 post all end in ''Punk sucks-like'' discussion?

Also Am I the only one who think that acoustic version of Punk/Rock/punk-rock/metal (and all the derivation you can imagine) are good and sometime better than the original songs?

And by the way, can anyone here say that a song is good without using the words fuck/kick/ass at least three times in their post?

General CommentI am so sick of you fucking 12 year olds who take up 9 pages of forum space to arhue with one another.

    Not about the song.

    Not about its meaning.

About whether you fucking thinks it was ripped-off from another band or if the guitar riffs are too simple.

How pathetic must you be to tell everyone on the internet why you hate a particular band. This is a website for discussing song meanings not seeing how far you can shove your head up your ass and make yourself look like an idiot.

Goddammit, I have seen kindergardeners with more fucking sense than you dumbasses.

And as for the song meaning (since I'd like to actually contribute to this website with something coherent and relative to the topic) it feels to me that the lyrics imply we are controllers of own fate. We've just made alot of bad decisions and here we are stuck in this world with war, poverty, and crime. No matter who we try to blame, its our fault; we did this to ourselves. Responsibility, I think is the main theme of this song.

General CommentWow, just once this time. I must congratulate you on displaying the motor skills of a 4-month-old spastic gerbil.

Whether they suck or *ahem* "rule" is up to you, all i was doing was pointing out that a lot of their songs are just immitations of other people's music. Even Fat Lip just sounds like a Vandals or LTJ B-side.
