Imagination, that's the way that it seems
Man can't only live in his dreams
Oh, it seems so hard.

If I'd lived a thousand times before
And if I'm gonna live anymore
Always brings me down

Everyone wants to live forever
Thinking that it'd be a lot better
Everyone wants to live for ever, whoa

The feeling in my head starts heading south
It seems it stops the fever from shootin' out of my mouth
Life gushing all around

Everyone wants to live forever
Thinking that it'd be a lot better
Everyone wants to live forever, whoa

Everyone wants to live forever
But no one ever gets it together
And, everyone wants to live forever
whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa

But isn't more than that somewhat, somehow. He's hypothesizing the effects of one who lives forever and how someone would become so sick of life like it's a disease that becomes life and he relates it (as an acid-man like wayne would) to dry heaving. But forever, is immaculate and terrifyingly infinite, which means we all desire what cannot be comprehended or within our grasp...like the tree of knowledge that's forbidden or something to that effect maybe? Seeing as how forever is more than what a brain can comprehend, it would be more than anyone could handle. Yet we still want it, because being alive is something sacred. IF it it wasn't, then would it hold those same sacred qualities? that makes the flaming lips say "whoa"

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/
