Oh lord,
Oh lord, You've made it....

You wanna drag your vessel
you wanna hush your voices

you better drag your... you better hush your...

I'll remember that I'll need to carry on
I'll pretend you're not around, I'll forget you
just like everyone else, I'll forget you
is there anybody around, I'll forget you
just like anyone
just because, just because, just because
do you come here ohhh
shiver around, shiver around

oh lord, oh lord, you've made it....

You wanna drag your vessel
You wanna hush your voices

...hush your mouth

General CommentCreepy fuckin song. Pretty good, quite trippy. But I think Cerpin dies at the end of Appatatus, not at the end of Take the Veil. But who knows... interpreting this album is way to fucking hard and confusing.

General CommentI'm really with Ninon with this one, definately glad the version I purchased in the US didn't have this as the final track. With the way Take the Veil... ends it sounds so urgent and regretful that you can't help but feel the pain for Cerpain/Julio. But in this song you just kinda feel like hmmm ok what was that. It doesn't flow with the album at all. Again not to say it's a terrible song, just not one that fits the rest of the album, I guess that's why it ended up on the cutting room floor for most of the presses. Well I guess that wasn't real informative, but I just wanted to state that Take the Veil... is a bad ass tune and D.I.T.C. is a bad ass album and Frances the Mute is stellar too. Definately gonna buy that one and you should too (even if you downloaded the leak like me).

General CommentIm not too sure, but ive been very compelled to decifer the meaning of this cd. My take on this song is that it's Taxt in the afterlife, thinking in his mind. After he notices hes dead in take the viel, he puts 2 and 2 together and realizes, "oh lord, i've made it", (ive finally killed myself) He's in his own messed up world now. Its a very deep and evil song, it almost scares me lol. Ambulets means moving from one place to another, so im pretty sure it means him moving into the afterlife. but hey, i could be wrong im new at this lol

General CommentIn the same way Apparatus & Televators show the resolution of Cerpin's story, Ambuletz shows the denouement. [Pardon the jargon, it just makes sense this way. The denouement, in a story, is when every question has been resolved and the final fate of the characters is known.] This song is not imperative to understand the album's meaning, but I feel it isn't complete without it.

The Crowing was on the right track, but the lyric is "you've made it," not "I've made it". The narrator is speaking to Cerpin across the great divide, which explains the rest of the lyrics. The core of the lyrics ("I'll remember...") show that the narrator will always be influenced by the memory of Cerpin, even though he will outwardly forget him, just like the rest of Rezjua.

true, ninon... ambuletz doesn't appear to be a word. so I think we stumbled upon a double meaning for ambuletz, which fits well for the song: ambulance and ambulatory. cerpin required medical attention during his coma and after his jump, but now he can walk and be freed from the world that had restricted him.

General Commenti think theres a secret message in there, because in about the first minute or so, if you listen closely, you can hear what sounds like mumbles/ backwards gibberish, and i reversed it and i can really make out what they're saying still...perhaps someone else could check this out?

General CommentI think some have it right and some of you have it all wrong.
Im sorry its tottal up to interpretation, but i think this whole song at the end of Delouced, is about his ride in the abulentz to the hospital. They are going on the "asumption" that you can still hear after your dead, that your soul hasnt left after your body has died, so he is still experienceing and hearing everything going on.
THe begining oscillation is the sirens comming to peel his corpse off of the pavement, they arive and take him on his final journey. the jibberish in the beginning is probably a EMT or a nurse or whomever was riding in the ambulentz, and the reason you cant realy understand it (aside from it being backwards) is because its mearly stating that its not that important as to whats being said.
As they try to revive him, one of his "rescuers" starts talking to him, and having seen so much death and carnage, and suicides, is mearly stating that "well you got what you wanted, You made it, you have achived your goal" maybe they are giving him permission to give himself up and die, or perhaps its just him floating away in the abulents and hearing everything going on.

General CommentI agree that this song is about Cerpin in the afterlife or after he has killed himself. Altough Take the veil is a killer song and one of my all time favourites but i think this song definately has a place on the album, aswell as it being just about the most scariest thing ive ever heard. Cerpin kills himself in televators, not in this apparatus must be unearthed. that song is about cerpin deciding to attempt to take his life once again after wakening from his coma in cicatriz esp.
Take the Veil is Cerpin Taxt after he has died moving on into death and the afterlife and i believe that this song is almost like an echo of his soul ( like a ghost ).

He has died, the lyrics "oh lord, oh lord you've made it" are the people who knew him coming to terms with his death, like oh lord you actually did kill youself.
The soft chanting and repetitive nature of the music make me think of death and the eternity of it. but anyway yeh thats just my opinion, that Ambuletz is Cerpins soul in the afterlife and the echo's of his existance in the people who knew him
