"Pattern Recognition" as written by and Kim Gordon Thurston Moore....
I'm a cool hunter making you my way
Like a brand name you'll replay

I will know you I won't show you
You're the one

Heat seeking missile freak
Black magic scared to speak

I will know you I will show you

Will you buy me a shaky heart
Lust brigade has torn me apart

I will know you I will show you

You're the one

Can you send me yesterday's girl
Cause everyday I feel more like her

Hey baby baby please don't go
Pattern recognition is coming down slow

Like a cool hunter watch the disarray
Keep yr secret footage heart away

I will know you I will show you

Close your eyes and feel the fun
Pattern recognition is on the run

I will know you won't show you

General Commentis it "I will know you I won't show you" or "I will know you I will show you"

i think it's that first one every time, but i could be wrong

General CommentThis song is a reference to William Gibson's latest book by the same name... In this novel, Cayce Pollard is a "cool-hunter" hired by various corporations to sniff out the latest trends... "The Sprawl", an earlier Sonic Youth song on Daydream Nation, was inspired by Gibson's master work "Neuromancer"

General CommentFunny enough, the book was recommended to me just a day or two before I got "Sonic Nurse" and I noticed the connection but didn't think much of it - now I am reading the book and can see it.
Also, is she actually saying something after "I don't know you/ I won't show you --"?? or is that just yeah-yeah gibberish?
