You'd never imagine
us bringing a loaded gun to the ballroom
this party's about to kick off

tonight is the wrong night
the devil's own are only starting up the first round of the fight
so hang on tight

dear mother the needle is jabbing the womb
draw back and release this child of disease
wroh oh yeah

this mob is a riot
the outlaw youth are only emptying the first round of the night
'cause everything's not alright

I suppose you thought you had our hands behind our backs
wool over our eyes
now your pulse is in my palm and you stand hands to mouth
wearing your disguise

it's pretty apparent
this boy is a curse
the christ of the moment so blow him away hey come on
and take the new number
if you're next in line then kid I got a really big fucking surprise
there won't be a next time

I suppose you thought you had our hands behind our backs
wool over our eyes
now your pulse is in my palm and you stand hands to mouth
wearing your disguise

I suppose you thought you had our hands behind our backs
wool over our eyes
now your pulse is in my palm and you stand hands to mouth
wearing your disguise

I suppose you thought you
I suppose you thought you
I suppose you thought you pulled the wool over our eyes
I suppose you thought you
I suppose you thought you
I suppose you thought you pulled the wool over our eyes

General CommentSeems to me like this song could be referring to the Columbine school shooting.

While the "needle jabbing the womb" line most likely refers to abortion, the abortion itself may refer to the way in which Eric and Dylan were gradually "aborted" by the other students at their school.

The line that really convinces me is:
"I suppose you thought you had our hands behind our backs, wool over our eyes
Now your pulse is in my palm and you stand hands to mouth wearing your disguise"
...which, to me, means that Eric and Dylan's tormentors were confident that they had succeeded in keeping them "low at the ladder" (sorry...couldn't resist a FFTL quote), but on the day of the shooting, they held the very lives of the surprised tormentors in their hands.

General CommentI think it's about abortion and black mail.

Loaded gun is a possible reference to junk ripe with sperm.
The needle jabbing the womb dry, a method of aborting a fetus.
This boy is a curse....yeah. That's what I'm thinking. Puciatto seems to sing a lot about women.

General Commenti used to think the lyrics "now your pulse..." were actually "now you stand next to mom, wearing your disguise" and subsequently assumed it was about a kid seeing his recently divorced mum dating a "charming" predator. now it looks like Vdl is right about the abortion thing.

General Commentit just occured 2 me that if the song's about abortion, then the title is obviously about women being robbed of their kids.

General Commentto me it sounds like a kid (or kids)was born bad and then arrested. and he should have been aborted. one of my favorite songs off miss machine.
