Rooms spin like hurricanes
Walls begin to breath
When will this be over?
Like it more than I should
It's taking over me
When will this be over?

Pre-Chorus:
Fighting for you
Struggling for you
Waiting for you

Chorus:
What do I do this for?
All for the high
Why do I do this, why?
All for the high
I rummage through this disaster to find a reward
Why do I do this, why?
All for the high

Torn in half again
I still feel the same
My head spins like a hurricane
I can't see right in front of me
Through the shit inside of me
When will this be over?

Repeat Pre-Chorus and Chorus

When will this be over?
My head spins
Lost control
When will this be over?
My eyes roll
Look inside
When will this be over?

What do I do this for?
All for the high
Why do I do this, why?
All for the high
I rummage through this disaster to find a reward
Just to be punished faster than I can ignore
All for the high
All for the high
All for the high
All for the high
The high
The high
The high
The high

General CommentVery interesting, 'cause ELIAS has admitted to doing drugs before. Marijuana, and others...And it seems that he's looking at it from an addicts perspective and saying, '"I should quit, 'cause it isn't fun any more. But I can't 'cause the drug has control over me. I started it to get away, to hide from my problems, to have fun, and get relaxed...But now, it's punishing me, destroying me...And what can I do? How can I stop?"' So, he's a slave to it now...And the end of the song just leaves you hanging there, which is classic for an addict...They become a slave to their drug, and are stuck there until they hit bottom.
(I AM NOT SAYING ELIAS IS AN ADDICT. I'M SAYING IT SOUNDS LIKE HE WROTE THE SONG FROM "AN ADDICTS" PERSPECTIVE) Maybe he knows some one who's like that. Or, maybe he's come across people like that on tour.

General CommentI got a different message from this song. The interpretation I got was about my ex girlfriend. She left me for her previous boyfriend, but for some strange reason I still wanted her. I was just starting to get over her when she asked if I would spend the night with her. Me being foolish I did and found that I still had strong feelings for her. I knew I shouldn't be doing what I was doing...but it made me feel so good to know that I was still there for her in some way. "What do I do this for? All for the high" I couldn't have felt any better when I was with her....before and even now.

General CommentMore than likely its about drugs. But I felt like he was comparing love or a relationship to being addicted to a drug.

For all the little things that my girlfriend does that drive me up the wall and irritate me, I deal with it because the overall reward is the high she gives me.

Hence the head spinning and so on, im dizzy with all the shit we go through, but I wouldn't trade any of it, or her for the world.
