@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday".
I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
People wait
They sit in and watch the telephone
People cry
When all they're wanting turns out wrong
It's strange
Rearrange
It's just change
Be a girl
See how hopeless she can be
With the boy
Who gets you on a see-through lead
It's strange
Rearrange
It's just change
And the rain
Never stops for anyone
And the cold
Just gets worse while we grow old
The one
Who loves the sun
Here they come
They sit in and watch the telephone
People cry
When all they're wanting turns out wrong
It's strange
Rearrange
It's just change
Be a girl
See how hopeless she can be
With the boy
Who gets you on a see-through lead
It's strange
Rearrange
It's just change
And the rain
Never stops for anyone
And the cold
Just gets worse while we grow old
The one
Who loves the sun
Here they come

Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it.
“I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
Midnight

Ed Sheeran
“Midnight” is a song about finding a love that is so true that it provides a calming feeling through every storm. Ed Sheeran reflects on his good fortunes in landing someone with such peace and support and speaks of not fearing the dark days because he knows they’ll all end in the safety nets of her arms.
“Well, good morning there / What a way to start the day / With everything laid bare,” Ed Sheeran sings in the first verse, enthusiastic to be waking up beside his woman. He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
This so is catchy in the most depressing way possible. I really enjoy it. But I think the point is "change". Taking about how we complain when we should change.
LOL...lots of things are "catchy." Be cautious, but then again go for the gusto!!! It's so much more fulfilling!
That's so weird you posted a comment 2 minutes after me. There hasn't been a single comment on here for years.
You have a place to be...the same place you've been for over a decade and I have no desire to speak with you. Again, take the stoopid label from my forehead 'cause you're not as clever as you apparently think. But I'm the bitch without the hideous army boots and without the girly bubble gum. Goodnight :)
Obviously though I'm too stoopid to post it as a reply to the thread below ;) Oh, and don't forget the hedge sheers and ears (for lack of anything better to describe them). God was on vacation that day. Stick with the bubble gum.
OK, that was cruel. God was not on vacation; He never is. But apparently he has a wicked sense of humor ;)
What the hell is going on here?
