General CommentClearly, little Hollis was a tad peeved with her mother while writing this.

"I AM THE MOTHER. DON'T EVER SAY THAT (YOU LITTLE...)"

I could imagine a five-year-old version of myself writing the exact same thing after being scolded by my mother.

General CommentWhat I think this song is about is how, like a deluge the winter holidays come down upon people, starting with November. And while everyone makes a big deal out of it all, many of them tend to forget where the importance really lies. We go about our lives all throughout the earlier months, then suddenly were oppressed with years of traditions and expectations . It can be extremely exhausting and what's worse about it all is, as Melora says were all just aliens. Were all celebrating our existence on a land that isn't even ours.

General CommentDude. The song was written by a little kid. It's not gonna have any really huge symbolism behind it..

General CommentBut an adult is the one who chose to record it. Of course it's symbolic.

General CommentI like the little girl voice, it reminds me of a little Victorian ghost girl in a white dress walking down a corridor, looking around and occasionally skipping, perhaps clutching a cloth doll...yes...
