"Hell Was Made in Heaven" as written by and Andreas/grosskopf Deris....
There was a time eating your mind
Eating your heart and your soul
Down to the bone always alone
Nobody waiting at home

Now allow that we unite our fires
Shout it out
Give yourself to me
Yeah, yeah, yeah

Hell was made in heaven
I was made for you
Hell was made in heaven
Made for loving you in sin

Ten years ago you made the vow
Promised your life and your love
Before you have paid, nothing returned
What is enough is enough

Now allow that we unite our fires
Shout it out
Give yourself to me
Yeah, yeah, yeah

Hell was made in heaven
I was made for you
Hell was made in heaven
Made for loving you in sin

Now allow that we unite our fires
Shout it out
Give yourself to me
Yeah, yeah, yeah

Hell was made in heaven
I was made for you
Hell was made in heaven
Made for loving you in sin, in sin
In sin, in sin

General CommentThis is an incredible head-banging, sing-along power anthem for the ages... but I have no clue what it means, aside from the assertion that "hell was made in heaven." This could be kind of literal, and mean that even Hell was made by God, or it could be a metaphor, for saying that evil can be born of good? Oh hell, I'm stumped. The lyrics seem to suggest some sort of merging is needed... "unite our fires" "I was made for you" etc...

General CommentThis song seems to me to be a love song, surely enough. What with the "give yourself to me," and "I was made for you." But it seems to me that it's almost like the girl is married, since ten years ago she made the vow, but got nothing in return, so he's saying as surely as hell was made by God, she was made for him, and he's her true love. But the "in sin" part would mean to me that maybe she won't or can't get a divorce, so they must be together in sin? I could be wrong but that's what I got out of it...

This is a great song, I love the way this album brought back the heavier style of albums like The Dark Ride and TIme of the Oath. This is a wicked song!

General CommentThis is kinda wierd. The majority of Helloween's members are Christian, so I highly doubt "hell" is the hero, here. Maybe the character is trying to lure a woman into commiting adultery, by trying to convince her that her marriage (If she was married in a church, it could be suggested that the marriage was made in Heaven) is like a Hell.
