"Ordinary" as written by and Pat/hendrickson Monahan....
Whose eyes in my behind
I don't recognize anything that I see
Whose skin is this design
I don't want this to be the way that you see me

I don't understand anything anymore
And this web that I'm tied up
Is taking me right up these walls
That I climb up to get to your story
It's anything but ordinary

And when the world is on its knees
With me, its fine
And when I come to the rescue,
I get nothing but left behind
Everybody seems to be getting what they need
Where's mine?
'Cause you're what I need
So very but I'm anything but ordinary

Can you save me from this world of mine
Before I get myself arrested with these expectations
You are the one, look what you've done
What have you done
This is not some kind of joke
You're just a kid
You weren't ready for what you did, no

And when the world is on its knees
With me, its fine
And when I come to the rescue,
I do it for you time after time
Everybody seems to be getting what they need
Where's mine?
'Cause you're what I need
So very but I'm anything but ordinary

I think I'm trying to save the world for you
You've been saving me too
We could just stay and save each other

I'm anything but ordinary
I'm anything but ordinary

General Commenta very relatable song for me. i'm the type to always help people but when it comes time that i need help i can't seem to find anyone at all...yet i still go out of my way to help them when they need me. i dont ask for much but i think a little love and respect would be nice.

General CommentIts about a guy who 'saves' everyone and gets nothing for it but in the end, he's doing it for the one he loves.

General CommentI love this song. Train and Dashboard Confessional (Vindicated) did a great job composing songs for Spiderman 2.

General CommentNot a whole lot of explaining to do.

This along with New Sensation are probably my favorite songs by Train. It's too bad they aren't going in this direction on the album coming up. At least their first single doesn't indicate that.

General CommentI don't know if this song was written especially for Spider-Man 2, but I can't get over how completely it fits to the character.

Lyric CorrectionFirst off, I thought it was saying:
    'Whose eyes AM I behind'

    Anyway, I LOVE this song!
I think he's also saying that everyone is getting the protection that they need, but he doesn't get anything. And what he REALLY needs, is the girl to love him.
'Everybody seems to be getting what they need
    Where's mine?
    Cause you're what I need
So very but I'm anything but ordinary'

I'm in love with this song!
