Of all the things that you do best
Disaster makes you happiest
So burn the clothes that you are in
They stink of smoke, and sweat, and skin

It's cold outside, so come inside
You scream "you stop, i'll run, i'll hide"
And still we have no answer to
The question: "what do we do?"

Oh, lets stop hanging out
Let's stop having fun
Stand in the corner
And think about what you've done

Oh its easy to over simplify
When you are not involved and i
Get so angry when someone can say
"The answer's there as clear as day"

And there is a possibility
That you could still cling on to me
And you're filled with such regret
Although you must have had your reasons

Oh, lets stop hanging out
Let's stop having fun
Stand in the corner
And think about what you've done

Oh, lets stop hanging out
Let's stop having fun
You deserve
To be with no one!
No one!
No one!

Let's stop hanging out
Let's stop having fun

Yeah right!!
Yeah!
Yeah...

Of all the things that you do best
Of all the things that you do best
Of all the things that you do best
Of all the things that you do best

Let's stop hanging out
Yeah, yeah,
Yeah let's stop hanging out
Let's stop hanging out
Yeah lets stop hanging out

You got the lyrics wrong, it's

And you cry 'cos I'm so calm inside You scream, you sob, "I'll run, I'll hide" And still we have no answer to The question: What do we do?

I take this song to be about the unenviable point in a relationship, either a strong friendship or, more likely, "dating" where you know that it must end for the greater good but you don't want to end it, as you are still having fun. But it has to be done. Strikes a cord in me, certainly.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,
