I feel the light upon my skin,
Like finger-tips
Reminding me that night must end.

Be brave
Like bridges underwater,
Keeping strong beyond their time.
I feel the light upon my skin,
Reminding me that night must end.

There's something about sadness
That leaves us wanting more,
A sickness that breathes...
From holding on to letting go,
The change is like dying.

You got to be brave
Like bridges underwater,
Keeping strong beyond their time.
I feel the light upon my skin,
Reminding me that night must end.

Teach me to create
A beautiful past
That makes you proud.
That makes you proud.

Teach me what I need to know
To be strong enough to let go...

Teach me what I need to know
To be strong enough to let go.

General CommentAh, this song seems to be about.... well first of all, ya, this song is great! :). Erm... ok, it's about... well actually, I was hoping someone else would know. Their lyrics are beautiful, but always hard to figure out.

General CommentI think it's just about persevering through dark times. I mean, I'm sure there's more too it than that but put simply, I think that's what it's about. I love the image of the bridge underwater, pure genius. And:

'There's something about sadness that leaves us wanting more'

Beautiful. I think these guys are really great thinkers. And we say our generation has no philosophers.

General Commenta lot of their songs, obviously, are about God or spirituality.

to me, "like fingertips, reminding me that light must end." could be God's touch, or a comforting touch, reminding you that the darkness (bad situation, hurt, etc) will go away eventually. that this too shall pass.

    in my opinion.
