Razor sharp I cut
The bull from my life
Too blunt your knife
To slay this dreamer

We might be dogs astray
No running line will hold us
So rather kick and kill me
I'll be butchered all the same

No words are spoken
But the world is broken

'Cause I want something
Something all wrong done
A life instead of mere living
Folding crumbling withering oh hell
What difference when working the way

The crown of my work
Is what I shall gain
At the end of my days

Daylight awake to a puppet world
No strings attach to this body of mine
Folding crumbling withering oh well
The punished pushed along the line
All my actions, all my moves
A life all mine to lose

The crown of my work
A life all mine to lose
A life all mine
Is what I choose
At the end of my days

General Commentwhen i listen to this song it makes me feel so free i mean its like leaving all the responsibillities and things that we are supposed to do in this society that is built around money and all behind and live the life for what you are ..it might be in a self destructive way but that what makes you feel free and real..you might loose your positions status and all but after all you could feel free..lol i think ill get into the wild and lost myself in and be primitive lmao

General CommentMaybe about retirement, because people sometimes focus on work first, play later, and then they don't enjoy life until they're withered, but this person is against the flow and seeks a better world, and thus is in control of their reality.

My OpinionBrilliant song. Garm and Anneke did a fantastic job here - their voices are perfect together. Amazing way to end Souvenirs.

General CommentDo I get killed if I say I like to think of the lyrics in a political sense? In that case, I guess the lyrics feel kind of socialist or at least anti-capitalist
