"This Charming Man (The Smiths cover)" as written by and Steven Patrick/marr Morrissey....
On Two bicycles
On a hillside desolate
Could nature make a man of me yet?

Under this charming car
This charming man

Why ponder life's complexies
When the leather runs smooth
On the passenger seat?

I would go out tonight
But I haven't got a stitch to wear
This man said it's crucial
That someone so handsome should care

I'm just a country boy
Who never knew his place
He said return the ring
He knows so much about these things
He knows so much about these things

I would go out tonight
But I haven't got a stitch to wear
This man said it's crucial
That someone so handsome should care
La, la-la, la-la, la-la, this charming man,
La, la-la, la-la, la-la, this charming man

Ah! I'm just a country boy
Who never knew his place
He said return the ring
He knows so much about these things [Repeat: x3]

General Commentin the cd booklet, deathcab explains that they feel like asses for getting the lyrics so wrong. i think they did it from memory instead of getting actual lyrics for it.

General CommentShame to say, not a brilliant cover, I love death cab and their own songs are great... but you cant mess with such a classic, though its hard for any band to top the Smiths, just listen to "how soon is now" from sore point records.

General Commentthey could have looked the lyrics up or something. they havent changed them on purpose there just wrong in places...tis like theyve covered up in a hurry. this cover is,unfortunately, crap, smiths 100 times better. rest of death cab is amazing though.
