my bed was floating in the ocean
a swarming jellyfish pulled us over the surface
the sun, the sun was crying diamonds
for every broken masthead
and scotch-taped sail that passed us by

we hung on, hung on, two orphan monkeys
and all we said and all that we did
left me feeling like a little kid

confuse confusion boats bumping
against against slowly bleeding wanting eels
and if you dream of dolphins
of tattooed fish in milky seas
and if you dream of levitating
there is a word you should be saying to me

General CommentThe only way this song makes sense to me at all is if it's about how he felt when his parent(s) did and it was just him and his sister. They were deep in their sea with their parents and they were painfully brought out into people attention. They felt orphaned and even though they were older, they couldn't help but feel little. The death of their parent(s) was like dieing slowy inside. Milky Seas and Levitating sounds like a reference to heaven to me. And maybe you should be saying sorry? to him.

That's what i get from it. Anybody else?
