One, two, three!
Yeah!
Drop it!
Bones in the water and dust in my lungs
Absorbing archaic like a sponge
The ultimate way is the way you control
But you can stay if you detach your soul
Bury the present and squeeze out the past
The ones you endear to never last
Chemical burns and the animalistic
I'm just another harline psuedo-statistic

Can you feel this?
I'm dying to feel this
Can you feel this?

Blood on the paper and skin on my teeth
Trying to commit to what's beneath
To find the time is to lose the momentum
You learn the lessons and immediately forget them
Automatic and out of my reach
Consult all the waste to find the key
Minimal life and the polysyllabic
I'm just another blank page, push the button, pull the rage

Can you feel this?
I'm dying to feel this
Can you feel this?
I am all, but what am I?
Another number that isn't equal to any of you
I control, but I comply
Pick me apart, then pick up the pieces
I'm uneven
I am the damaged one
All my life and the damage done
I am the damaged one
All my life and the damage done
I am the damaged one
All my life and the damage done
I am the damaged one
All my life and the damage done

Can you feel this?
I'm dying to feel this
Can you feel this?
I'm dying to feel this
Can you feel this?
I'm dying to feel this
Can you feel this?
I'm dying to feel this
I am all, but what am I?
Another number that isn't equal to any of you
I control, but I comply
Pick me apart, then pick up the pieces
I'm uneven

I am all, but what am I?
Another number that isn't equal to any of you
I control, but I comply
Pick me apart, then pick up the pieces
I'm uneven

My InterpretationI think this song is about overcoming stereotypes and not conforming and whatnot, but that's not all. I also think it's about the characters struggle to find who he is while other people are trying to tell him who to be. The verses are sort of the struggle to me and the chorus is his realization that he doesn't have to find out who he is. He is who he is and that's that. He's not unequal to anyone. Everyone keeps saying that the character is telling people that he's better than them, but I think he is telling them that everyone is equal and individual. He's also saying that if he appears to conform, it's because what he is conforming to supports his views, not his piers'. It's really an epic of someone who realizes that he just needs to do what he wants and fuck everyone else. As a last thought, the sort of militaristic drum sequences in the song I think represent conforming.

General CommentOoooooooooo, I love this song! Didn’t pay much interest until I watched a video of them playing it live at the London Astoria, then it was an instant favorite. The guitars are kickass in this song!! There are lots of random screaming and a cool drum solo between the three percussionists. It is about everyone being the same as the next person. The one speaking seems to be complaining about how you have to be just like everyone else to fit in, and that he isn’t like that. He says it in several ways. “I'm just another hard-line pseudo-statistic” which implies that he is a fake, not really another one of the crowd, as others view him to be. Several phrases (”I am all, but what am I? / Another number that isn't equal to any of you”, “I am the damaged one /
All my life and the damage done“ and “I’m uneven!”) say that he isn’t right, and he's different. The song is about being imperfect. The name probably comes from the ideas that there is always a defect in the overall plan and that the blister ALWAYS exists.

General Commentwell... i wuld just guess that this song is about being what you are and not changing around people. like when girls are best freinds when they are next to each other but hate each other every other time
"Another number that isn't equal to any of you " -- i'm different
"I control, but I comply" -- i can choose to do new things... but i dont always

General Commentthis is Song is a lot like heretic anthem , is about Doing the Oposite Of what people want u to do, or expect u to do, And they did, people expected the new album to heavier than ever, but it wanst, it was the Slowest and More lyrical Album yet :) "another number that isnt equal to any of you" , isnt that like " if ur 555, im 666" ?

General CommentI could be wrong but i think this song is about people stereotyping you constantly and you overcoming those stereotypes he's also saying dont judge me when he says "i'm a number that isn't equal to any of you hes saying im better than you.
