"Rising up from the Ashes" as written by and Christopher John Cheney....
Just when you thought
That you had it all worked out
You will be the last one
To figure it out

Then you will see
That in order to be free
We just don't want to fake it
Anymore

It doesn't seem to add up
And nothing seems to matter
You've outgrown all the anger
You know that it's not the answer

Rising up from the ashes
You know we never meant to burn
Rising up from the ashes

We don't want to answer
To a mixed up generation
There'll only be separating
And if we burn
Then what have we learned

i think this song is about someone who has struggled or suffered, and now has 'outgrown all the anger', is fighting back and rising up -- "rising up from the ashes, you know we never meant to burn" love this band xx
